In line with my revamping of the site, I did up a new logo which can be seen at the top of the blog.
Took many tries before I settled on this. Drew couple cartoon, did too complicated mascots, outline a face.. Finally, with the help of my hubby, we settled on this.

A ‘Happy Birthday’ card for Tianz’s boyfriend commissioned by her. It was completed on the 16th of June.
This time I boldly use a few colours I seldom use in my art. Turned out very cheerful and happy. Background has three colour gradients instead of the usual two.
The balloon with the text in it was thought up by me as it is an item often used during birthdays.

Finally, I finished this before Good Friday holiday!!! I sent the draft to them at the end of March but was caught up with matters and only completed this on the 9th of April.
I overdid myself on this one as I tried to do some new stuff. *grin. *drained. I think this is the best work for ‘Chibi portraits’ so far. Even my hubby thinks so.
As a challenge to myself, I tried curving the words in this new piece and took quite a long time. But the hardwork paid off …
My newest work completed on the 16th of March 2009 for the couple.
Her request was to have them holding hands and walking. Hence, the idea for the aisle for them to ‘walk’ on with the arch over them.
I love her hairstyle and gown design and had a fun time drawing them. If nothing goes wrong, she will also be using this picture sans background to create her invites or add into her montage. Cool! Hope the people receiving them will love the card and can’t bear to throw them away. …
Have been wanting to update this picture I completed on the 29th of January 2009 but didn’t have time. So here’s the work I did for Yan Lin which was for her solemnization on 14th February.
She didn’t quite like the original coloured background I did for her during the drafting stage and requested a rainbow and bluish colour. So I re-did the whole background, fonts and objects again.
