I’ve just finished a portrait drawing for a birthday card yesterday late at night. It was kinda rush because the birthday is today! Eric kindly commissioned me when he read my printing and designing post.We discussed about reference photos, posing on Monday. I sent him the draft layout yesterday afternoon and after confirming, worked throughout the day and night… Finally I finished it at one in the morning. I do hope the print will turn out nice and that he’s in time for it. I’m worried about whether the proportions will be correct when printed though I had it done to the 5R size. Hope nothing gets cut off and everything will turn out nicely. It’s actually a surprise for his wife. ^^ so loving of him.

I won’t put up the sample here til I ask him whether it is alright first and only after today is over. I do not want to spoil anything if someone happens to see it.

Update: He printed it nicely in a photo shop and framed it.

His request was Detailed Cartoon portrait, half-bodied, cartoon style. Eyes, eyebrows, and hairstyle is painstakingly drawn to match real life features. It only look similar not ‘exactly’ to real life look due to constraints in cartoon eyes(must be big), nose and mouth.

I’ve included rates and details on cartoon drawing, mini animated invitation or flash album. Do have a look if you are interested to commission me for a cartoon portrait drawing. Completion is usually in a day or two, not including draft or discussion or admendments.

For my animation projects, I’ve roughly completed ‘Love is’ except for the photos part as I need to wait for the client to take their photo shoot and include in. I’m starting on Shara’s project, ‘Love Thermometer’ as her wedding is due in October. Hope to be able to finish most of it by the end of this month. Working hard on it!
