UpdateWork~ Courtship Moves
Okay, I finally managed to create the flash holder and get the images out. So presenting to you all, the project I did in June 06, ‘Courtship Moves’! View it in the Works Page.
This is a project for Jones and Xiaoshi and this is my favourite presentation so far because I love their cute story and everything was entirely planned by me using just their simple story outline. They just say, ‘We leave it all to you!’. Nothing was changed in the draft I sent to them. I really appreciate their full support of my ideas. And thanks so much Jones and Xiaoshi, for letting me put the clip up.
For this animation, I used a new idea of a ‘first person’ presentation from Jones’s point of view. The story includes several small events that brought them together, hence it may appear a little jerky and not continuous. Erica managed to put in great music for this animation though she did complain the difficulty since the events were not exactly related. *grin
The presentation ends with Jones finished telling his story and marching in with his bride. I wonder how the audience felt when they saw the cartoon version of Jones & Xiaoshi in their evening wear and after that, the real Jones and Xiaoshi marching in. How I wish I could see it. ^_^

Hi, ur stories r very cute and i truly like ur idea on voice dubbing, how i wish my story gets to be published for my guests like those displays in ur works. Keep up the good work.. ‘Jia You’. Will appreciate if you will consider to take in more jobs (understand how hard for you to complete a lot of works) but truly hope that i can have 1 animation for my wedding too.. since it’s a once in a lifetime event.. Thanks….

thanks for liking my works. I’m always glad to hear it. Yar, a pity I cannot take on more at the moment.
Well, I must credit the interesting stories to my clients too since it’s their real-life story. I wouldn’t be able to create it if they haven’t have a good story to begin with too.
